My daughter has been a student at TAPA for 7 years and she has made friends with both teachers and students which I believe will be for life. The studio's are very clean and also air-conditioned. Google Townsville Academy of Performing Arts and have a look at their website. You won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for quality dance teaching that is world class then you can't go past Croft Gilchrist School of Dance in Pimlico. The studio is nothing flash but the Ballet teacher, Robyn Croft and Tap/Jazz teacher, Vicki Burns are by far the best in Townsville.

I suggest you try Croft Gilchrist Pimlico Exceptionally high standard of teachers and very involved with dancers Have an excellent record in exam results and eisteddfods. The students are all happy and love the school Highly recommend

Good luck in trying to get into tapa if you don't know anyone there. I put my daughters' name down for tap, which supposably had the shortest waiting list, but couldn't get her in.

i know you said near kirwan, but i dance at ann roberts school of dance.. some of their classes are in town, but some of them are close to kirwan...

no such thing as a waiting list there... who has a waiting list? do you have to audition as well? jebus, a waiting list is redicioulas!

at Ann Roberts, if your daughter is keen, she's in!
